Programs
Wake Forest University offers thirteen PhD degrees. Three of these PhD programs (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) are located on the Reynolda Campus (which includes the undergraduate college). Ten of the PhD programs are in the biomedical sciences and are located on the Bowman Gray Campus. The Graduate School also offers an MD/PhD in conjunction with the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. There is also a PhD/MBA offered in conjunction with the Babcock Graduate School of Management. Wake Forest University has also teamed up with Virginia Tech's College of Engineering to form a joint program now known as the "Virginia Tech-Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering & Sciences" (SBES). In addition, Wake Forest offers eighteen master's programs. Fourteen are on the Reynolda Campus in disciplines ranging from Biology to Religion. One of these programs is MALS (Master of Arts in Liberal Studies) which is designed to enable the college educated adult student an opportunity to pursue a general degree in the liberal arts. Four of the master's are in the biomedical sciences and are located on the Bowman Gray Campus. One of these master's programs is a combined MD/MS in Health Sciences Research. There is also a master's of accountancy program in conjunction with the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy.
